How do I transfer a URL I already own to WordPress?

  Hello,

  I own the website http://www.phillipmolnar.com through Godaddy.com and would like to use that url on a wordpress blog.

  I recently started using WordPress for another blog and like it quite a bit, so I would like to create a new site with that URL.

  Phillip if you want people to be able to type phillipmolnar.com in their browser window and get to your WP blog that way then what you really want is domain forwarding with masking (or mapping). The folks at Godaddy would help you with this. I’ve tried doing it myself in my Godaddy dashboard but it never works quite right and I always end up calling them. I recommend just calling them from the start.
