how do I transfer domain ownership to another wordpress user

Hello-
I need to transfer the ownership of a domain from me to another person. I was managing a website for a client for a while, and had purchased the domain through my account. However, I am not managing the site anymore, and the domain is up for renewal. SO: How can I transfer the domain ownership to a new wordpress account that he will create?
Hoping to do this soon so all help is greatly appreciated!

You can make another username account an Admin of the blog and then use the process to transfer the blog to that username account.

Do note that you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog.

What if I am not the one who registered the blog, but am the one who purchased the domain? How could I transfer ownership to another admin under the blog?

Howdy,
If both accounts are administrators on the blog, Staff can transfer the upgrades between accounts. If you can confirm which blog, which upgrade (e.g. the domain), and which user should receive the upgrade, I can take care of this for you.
Please do be advised though that by transferring ownership of the domain, you are waiving your right to the domain and the new party has complete legal rights over it. Additionally, the new owner should update the contact information (“whois information”) via the drop down menu at the bottom of Store->Domains as soon as possible once transferred.

I have attempted to transfer a new blog and domain to another account I have to centralize my blogs. It is not showing up on the other account though. I have tried several times.

I have the same issue: A domain that I personally registered as an employee needs to be renewed by a different employee (a different wordpress user).
I am no longer an admin on the domain’s site, convosofcolor.com.
Please advise.
