How do I transfer domain to WordPress?

  I currently have a domain but it is hosted by another site. It is also coming up for renewal. I am not happy with the current site. How can I get my domain name (deelectables.ca) renewed with WordPress.org ? Or is it better to transfer my domain to WordPress, then renew? What info do I need? I’m not very saavy at this stuff.

  You can’t actually transfer a domain to WordPress.com, but through your registrar you can map it here.

  Your best bet would be to renew and then follow these instructions to map your domain here:
