How do I transfer followers and stats to new self-hosted site?
-
Hi, I’ve moved my blog from wordpress.com (lyleandpaige.wordpress.com) to a self-hosted WordPress site (www.momentsforthejourney.net). I want to move my wordpress.com followers (as well as the email followers) over to my new blog. Please can you tell me know how I do that? I have Jetpack installed on my new site.
Many thanks.
The blog I need help with is lyleandpaige.wordpress.com.

Hi there,
Staff can do this for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. -

I have migrated your subscribers and followers to your new site.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

If your post IDs match up, I will be able to do that for you. If not, I cannot.
I will look into that right now.

I am sorry, but the post IDs for your new site do not match the IDs for your old site. Stats cannot be transferred.

I wish I had better news. But the stats are based on the specific posts and if they do not match when we merge them, they will be massively incorrect.

That’s ok. I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out for me. I decided just to copy the stats into a document. They’re a little hard to follow because the format of copy and pasting is bad, but as long as I still have them for a reference that’s ok. Again, thank you.
