How do I Transfer My Blog URL Back From Temporary URL?

I moved by WordPress.com blog subdomain to a temporary subdomain for a personal reason. Could I move it back? I’ve tried a few times already but WordPress just creates new blogs every time.
For example, I want to move blognameheretemp.wordpress.com back to blognamehere.wordpress.com

Under My Blogs does connienoellewrites.wordpress.com come up? Because it hasn’t been deleted, I’m guessing it still is showing.
If it is, you can’t go Change URL to your temp one, since it will say that the one you want already exists. So you’ll need to export the content from your temp one, and then import it back to the regular one. That’s the only way I can think of to get your site back, and it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Okay, I’ve got posts and comments in the “new” blog with the original URL, but no luck with the widgets and themes and pictures (I know I can manually go in and do those, so that’s not the issue). The problem is… with the followers and people subscribed to the RSS feed – all that will be broken, right?
There’s no way a WordPress engineer could just zap the old site and replace it with this the “temp” one?

I just need you to confirm you want all of your WordPress.com and email followers moved from “connienoellewritestemp.wordpress.com” to “connienoellewrites.wordpress.com”. Once I get confirmation, I can move them for you.

Thanks for replying! Because I’ve customized the original blog (connienoellewritestemp.wordpress.com) quite a bit, is it still possible to just do a switcharoo?
I got the content imported but the design/widgets/settings etc. would still not be transferred over.

No, we are not able to rename a site to an already existing site name. This includes site names from deleted/inactive sites.
Also, any customizations – theme, widgets, etc – you’ve made on your temp site would need to be redone on your new site. There is no way to transfer those over.
If you want your followers transferred as I offered earlier, just confirm that the original and destination sites are correct.

As it looks like you’ve already completed the import of your posts, pages and comments, the only other thing I can do is transfer your WordPress.com and email followers, which I have done per your request.
Please note it may take up to an hour for the information to transfer in your stats settings.
