How do I transfer my domain away from wix.com

    Hi I have requested to transfer my domain tapdesigners.com away from Wix.com
    They sent me an email saying: To complete the switch to your new registrar, please use the transfer code below within the next 7 days. Transfer Code: [redacted]
    I don’t see where I can do this on wordpress and wix is not allowing me to change the name servers. Can I get some help

    Howdy!

    Thanks for getting in touch. While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names.

    Since Wix doesn’t allow its users to change the domain’s nameservers, the recommendation we’re left with is to have you transfer the domain to another DNS provider. Once the transfer is complete you can then change the nameservers to WordPress.com.

    Sorry for the extra steps! We’ve approached Wix about this situation before, but right now this is the best thing we can do.
