How do I transfer my domain to a new ip address?

  I need to transfer my domain to a different IP address but I can’t access my dashboard or site.

  To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-domain-name-servers

  Note you will need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

  You guys host my domain. And I can’t get on my dashboard or anything because the host of my website migrated my blog to a different IP…but since you guys host my domain they weren’t able to point it to the new IP. So my blog is completely down.

  You can access your dashboard at https://healthyhelper.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ .

  Do you want to point the domain to a different host? if so, what’s the name of the new host? or do you want to keep it pointed to your WordPress.com blog?

  I need to point my domain of my blog healthyhelperblog.com to a new ip address. You guys host the domain and go daddy hosts the actual site. They put my blog on a new server and now the domain needs to be put on that new server as well.

  In that case only the nameserver records need to be changed, not the IP address.

  Currently the nameserver records point to:

  ns10.domaincontrol.com
  ns09.domaincontrol.com

  Which are both GoDaddy’s, but it seems the domain doesn’t resolve to your new site yet. Did GoDaddy provided these records to you? otherwise you might need to contact them to confirm if the records are correct and why the domain isn’t showing your new site yet.

  Those are the right nameservers….they provided me with a new ip adress to direct the site to. I contacted them and they told me to contact you because they cannot redirect to a new ip address from their end. I went into the dashboard you gave me and went to summary and added go daddy and the new ip address. It says that is was added but the site still won’t come up. Is there any where else on that dashboard where a new ip address can be added?
