How do I transfer my followers from my wordpress.com blog to my new .org blog?

  I just transfered my domain, http://www.brianwfoster.com, to a new host so that I can use plugins. It didn’t bring my stats or followers with me. Help!

  I can transfer both your stats and your followers from your WordPress.com blog to your WordPress.org blog. But to make sure, could you please provide the full URL of each site?

  Hi there, I’ve transferred your subscribers and followers, as well as your stats.

  Just a heads-up that your WordPress.com followers won’t see an option to get email updates from your new self-hosted site, so they’d need to re-subscribe by email if they want to get email updates rather than see your posts in their Reader. You could make a final post on your old site to that effect.
