How do I transfer my subscribers?

  Hello! I moved my site from .com to .org for self-hosting (same url), and it looks like none of the subscribers came with. Can you help? Am not sure why, but it isn’t reaching the same audience. Thanks!

  I moved from a free WordPress.com to a self-hosting on .org, but I thought my URL was the same to and from? Theignitedlife.com.

  It may have been theignitedlife.wordpress.com and now it’s just theignited life.com. I am not completely sure.

  I do have another question. Okay two. Do the WordPress.com followers get a notification of posts? I ask because I am not getting the usual feedback after posts that I did prior to moving the site. Also, can you tell if the “likes” are showing up at the bottom of the posts?

  Yes, either via the WordPress.com Reader or email subscriptions, their preference settings won’t change.

  Also, can you tell if the “likes” are showing up at the bottom of the posts?

  No, they don’t appear to have been enabled. You’ll need to enable the module via the Jetpack section of your blog’s Dashboard, then the Likes via Settings -> Sharing.
