how do i transfer my url for use with another blog?

  I purchased a URL when I registered for Word Press yesterday. I did not realize that Word Press blogs would be difficult to customize. The learning curve is steep and I do not have the time to play with it, nor do I wish to pay 30 dollars a year to have the ability to put custom code in my blog. So I want to take my domain name and transfer it so that it can be used for my Tummblr blog. How would I do that?

  You can follow the instructions here to change the nameservers to point to a different service like Tumblr.

  The reply you sent tells me that I cannot transfer my domain for 60 days. It also tells me that I cannot transfer it if I chose the private registration option (the option was an extra 8 bucks). I want to somehow give up my domain name and get my money back from Word Press. Are you someone who can handle financial matters? Is there anyone that I can speak to? If there is cash involved shouldn’t there be phone support?
