How do I transfer subscriptions?

    I would like to transfer my subscribers from my wordpress.com (backtothesutra.wordpress.com) to my wordpress.org site (jennifer-elise.com). I have read through all of the material and the FAQ says that you are able to do it if I contact wordpress, which just links to the forum.
    I found a forum post where someone asked this same question and they were able to do this for her. Is this still possible?

    Please login to your WordPress admin for your self-hosted site and then go to JetPack.

    Off to the top right of the page, you’ll see a status light. Click on it to disconnect Jetpack. Then reconnect Jetpack.

    This will refresh the connection between your site and WordPress.com.

    A staff member will then help you move your subscribers (tagged for staff assistance).
