How do I transfer wordpress followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org? I have requested that all of the followers who subscribed using their email to re-subscribe, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to transfer the wordpress followers?

Hi there,
I can transfer your followers for you, however I’ll need from you the full URL of your original WordPress.com site and your new WordPress.org site as well.
Also, make sure that you’ve installed and connected the JetPack plugin, as that’s what allows all of this magic to happen! :)

Hi there,
Our systems are actually having troubles connecting to your Jetpack plugin. Could you please try disconnecting it and reconnecting it in your Dashboard >> Jetpack? You should be able to just click the green button that says “Connected” to disconnect it and then click it again to connect back to our servers.

After I did that, now I can’t see my stats and it looks like I don’t have any followers (even ones to the new .org site!) anymore! Ack!!

Heya,
That’s not a problem! I’ve fixed that particular little glitch. Go ahead and disconnect it again and reconnect it and you should show your stats again.
Let me know once you’ve done so and I will make those transfers!
