How do I truly make my blog private?

    I made my WordPress blog private and did not invite any users to view it or accept any viewer requests but my number of views keeps increasing. How can I ensure that no one apart from me sees my blog?

    Hi there. On a private blog your own views are also counted. If I try to view your blog I see the Protected Blog screen, so it really is private. You don’t need to worry.
