How do I turn off Discussion on one page only?

  I want to set up a page so that it does not have the “Leave a Reply” field. In Settings/Discussion under Defaults, it says you can change the settings for individual articles. Even though I am unchecking “show likes,” “allow comments,” and “allow pingbacks and trackbacks,” and updating the page, the changes are not saving. What am I doing wrong?

  Hey there, Christina!

  If you want to change the discussion settings on a previously published page, you can do so!

  Simply open a new page, or open a previously published page::
  https://motorcityexpat.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page

  Scroll to the bottom of the page editor, and you’ll see the Discussion module. De-select Allow comments and Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. Then, save your changes, or publish your page!

  The discussion module wasn’t showing, but I found it under screen options in the upper right–and the boxes to check–and of course, it worked! Thanks for your help!
