How do I turn off Email Notifications?

  How do I turn off email notifications? They are clogging my inbox and making me insane! I don’t want to see ANY email notifications. I tried unchecking the box that says email posts, but it wouldn’t allow me to save it.

  Change your settings here > Settings > Discussion
  E-mail me whenever
  Anyone posts a comment
  A comment is held for moderation
  Someone likes one of my posts
  Someone reblogs one of my posts
  Someone follows my blog

  Then go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
  Click http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
  Go to “Get new posts by email”
  Select “Never”
