How do I turn off email/rss notifications for my blog?

  I am trying to archive newsletter entries that were written before my blog was created. I don’t want my subscribers to have to see each entry I enter. Is there a way to temporarily turn off these notification emails/the rss feed while I create these new entries?

  Unfortunately, there is not. They would have to unsubscribe while you post them, then resubscribe afterwards.
