How do I two different color headers?

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m looking for some help creating different colored headers for each page of my website since my homepage background is white and the rest of the pages are red. I’d like a red logo on the homepage and a white one on all other pages in my header. Does anyone have advice? I did find a way to create a conditional menu, but can’t find the same for a logo.
Also, my menu is white on the supporting pages, meaning it’s white on mobile and isn’t visible. The mobile menu text is red on the homepage, so the homepage shows up well. Any idea how to make the mobile menu red throughout? Thanks!

  • Hi –

Thanks for writing to us. It won’t be possible to customize the headers that way on a free hosting plan which is fairballconsulting.wordpress.com.

On our premium upgrade you could use CSS to select the header color for individual pages. Those details are https://wordpress.com/pricing/

I wouldn’t necessarily jump to an upgrade for just one small thing like this. Instead, consider finding a theme that mostly meets your requirements.
