How do I unlink blogs?

    Hi there. I have a rather large number of blogs I need unlinked from my account (I do web development, and there’s been a lot of turnover in the past 15+ years). I’ve seen on the forum that this isn’t something one can do themselves but it is a future feature (but that post was from 2014). How do I unlink these?

    Hi –

    As the owner of a site you can delete it at any point. With that said, if you may ever need to access these projects again a better option might be to open a secondary account on WordPress.com and transfer the projects there for safe keeping. This would keep your main account nice and tidy, but also keep those projects safe.

    I’ve tried deleting these. All I can do is hide/unhide. I’m at tis page: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

    There is no option to delete these. And, some of these domains I no longer own. What do I do?

    However, if you list the URL of the self-hosted sites you want disconnected, we’d be happy to disconnect them from our end.

    Thank you, that support page is where I started. None of the sites I want to remove show up on “My Sites”, only on “My Blogs”.

    Here’s the list of the ones I need removed if at all possible (thanks so much for your help):
