How do I unlink my self-hosted domain name from WordPress

  I want to unlink my self-hosted domain name from WordPress because I have decided to use a different website, however I can’t change my primary domain and when I type in the domain name it redirects to wordpress.

  Hey there!

  You deleted the site, so the mapping has been severed. However, you also have to change your domain’s name servers with it’s registrar, so it no longer points to WordPress.com’s servers.
