How do I unmap a domain from one WordPress site and re-map it to another?

I registered http://www.phrasefixer.com through an external service, and it is currently mapped to acspahn.wordpress.com. I would like to cancel that mapping and instead map it to phrasefixer.wordpress.com. The questions seemed to indicate I need Staff support to do this.
I know how to map the domain to the new site; I just need to know how to un-map it from the original site. Thank you!

I went ahead and removed the domain mapping for phrasefixer.com from acspahn.wordpress.com.
Can you try to map the domain to the new site? You shouldn’t be asked to pay anything.

My domain is ratliffreblogs.wordpress.com (that I want to map josephratliff.net to). It says “josephratliff.net is already mapped to another blog.” But it shouldn’t be any longer.
Can I get josephratliff.net mapped to ratliffreblogs.wordpress.com please?

@josephratliff: I can see that josephratliff.net is registered to WordPress.com and currently mapped to josephratliff.wordpress.com. If you’d like, you can transfer your domain to another of your WordPress.com sites via the My Upgrades page:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades
Choose the ‘Transfer to another site’ option below your upgrade on that page, and then select ratliffreblogs.wordpress.com to move your domain there.
Let me know if you have any other questions around that.

I am having the exact same problem with beatingtrauma.com. I need to unmap it from stolenchildhood.wordpress.com so that I can repoint it at GoDaddy. Can someone help me with that?

Hi I have the same issue – I accidentally mapped http://www.ryanslawoffices.com to my blog (boreddandyemotional.wordpress.com) and want it to map or redirect to http://www.ryanslawoffices.com.au / ryanslawoffices.wordpress.com

@samryanwords — Since you own both of those sites, you can move the domain from one to the other on your My Upgrades page. You can use the ‘Transfer to another site’ option below your upgrade on that page to move it.
