How do I unpublish my site

    So I went online today to do a search on my business name and see a demo site that I was testing with WordPress up and available live on the internet? How do I unpublish my site. It was never suppose to be live.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The site above appears to be Private which means that search engine will not crawl it or index it so i am presuming that you have found the answer yourself.
    Bear in mind though that it will take a while for the pages to be removed from the index so you will need to be patient.

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of mahoganysociety.wordpress.com?

    That site was only set to private two days ago, and before that it was public since its creation, so it has already been indexed by search engines. Now that you have it set to public it will eventually disappear from search results, but it won’t happen instantly. The only way to remove it from search results completely is to contact individual search engines and ask them to remove it.
