How do I update my email without losing subscriptions?

http://dreamingarts.wordpress.com I updated my email in “personal settings” and found I’ve lost all of my subscribers. How do I update my email and retain/retrieve my subscribers? Thanks!

It’s a bit fiddly, but follow the ‘manage’ link in your emails (make sure you are logged out) for your old email address to take you to http://subscribe.wordpress.com. In the options there you can enter a new email address to transfer the subscriptions to. Enter your new address and you will be sent a confirmation email. Once confirmed the subscriptions will be transferred.
We’ll work on making this easier.

Thank you so much John for the clarification. I’m not happy it’s tricky, but I’m glad to know I’m not dim for having trouble with this. I will report back once I transfer successfully.
