How do I upgrade from WordPress version 1.2 to 4.4?

  I exported my site’s content and successfully tested it by importing it to a local server. How do I completely clear the website, replace it with the new version, but still retain my URL?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Newopinions.wordpress.com is not a self-hosted site, it is hosted by WordPress.

  That’s correct. Newopinions.wordpress.com is hosted on WordPress.com, on which software updates are taken care automatically. So your site and all the millions of other sites hosted on WordPress.com always run on the latest version of WordPress software.
