Hi Eric,
You will not be able to use that video player at WordPress.com as it requires the use of plugins, which aren’t allowed as explained here:
However, we do have several methods of uploading videos that are listed here:
We offer embeds of the most common players like YouTube and Vimeo as well as a paid upgrade called VideoPress that lets you upload videos directly to your blog:
Would any of those options work?

No, I’m looking to upgrade from what I have to WordPress 3.0 so I can install the video player I mentioned. I can already put videos on my site. I want to install a video player, so multiple videos can be stored and viewers can select the one they want to watch. Does videopress do that?

Hi Eric!
I’m not sure what you’re referring to by WordPress 3.0. All blogs at WordPress.com are running the same version. We handle all of the upgrades for you so there’s no need to upgrade.
I want to install a video player, so multiple videos can be stored and viewers can select the one they want to watch. Does videopress do that?
Yep! VideoPress allows you to upload videos to your site and embed them directly on your blog for viewers to watch. I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say “select the one they want to watch”. It cannot create a few like this:
Is that what you’re after?

Yes, I’m after what’s in the link. I can already put videos on my site. We now need to use a video player. It requires 3.0 version. My site is not compatible with that. How do I make it compatible?

Hey Eric,
There are no versions of WordPress.com. Everyone at WordPress.com runs on the same version. There are versions of the self-hosted software, WordPress.org, which is completely different. You can read more about the difference here:
If you would like to use the plugin you mentioned, you will need to switch to a self-hosted site as WordPress.com does not allow plugins. Info on moving to a self-hosted site can be found here:

Does that help to clarify?
