How do I upload a front page in the Expound Theme?

    I have to build a website using Expound and I cannot get the front page to upload. I have followed instructions and the icons I need to navigate through are not there. Also the ‘Parent’ option has disappeared and I cannot load any more onto the menu, I only have 7 categories there, it keeps telling me the pages don’t exist. Please help I have to have this finished by tomorrow.
