How do I upload a jpeg into dashaboard & place on my 1st page like the template

  I am trying to get a picture I attempted to upload onto my first page to display like the picture on the Oxygen template displays – just one image – don’t need rotating images but I cannot find where in the dashboard I can get 1 to show up. Please advise how to do it step by step at (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  Nobody will email you. I suggest you look through the Themes forum for image-related threads with the Oxygen tag. Oxygen is one of the most complex themes we have here and it is not recommended for beginners.

  That image isn’t just an image, it’s the featured posts slider. It showcases some important posts, and it shows on the main posts page. You have no posts, and you’ve set the blog front to display a static page instead of your posts, so you cannot create that section. If you want an image on your static page, you edit the page and upload/insert an image into the content of the page the normal way. Or you add a header image for the whole blog, in Appearance > Header.
