How do I upload a retina-friendly header image?

  How do I upload a retina-friendly header image? I am a new wordpress.com user. Using the Ryu theme, I’m unable to resize my uploaded header image to shrink it down for it to be “retina-friendly.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I would also like to know this and am using the same theme. I’m sort of surprised retina isn’t supported out of the box.

  You have to edit the image prior to uploading it. The image editing tools here are not sophisticated, to say the least.

  Edit in which way? The image is clear and completely unpixellated originally.
