How do I upload a video with player created using Camtasia Studio version 8.3?
-
Camtasia Studio version 8 creates a folder for each project which includes lots of files, one of which is plain .html and one of which, also .html, incorporates a “player” – at a guess, stuffed full of JavaScript. When I drop all the files created by Camtasia into the media upload screen, only some are accepted. Thus for example the plain .mp4 file is uploaded fine. However that provides no internal navigation and the video is two hours long… The Camtasia player takes advantage of markers and displays a very useful table of contents. I understand that you disallow .html; so is there some other way to achieve the effect that I want?
Thanks!

Hi there – Currently, you can only upload video files in the following formats:
MP4 (.mp4, .m4v), QuickTime movies (.mov), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), MPEG (.mpg), Ogg (.ogv), 3GPP (.3gp) and 3GPP2 (.3g2)
If that won’t work, another option would be to upload them to one of the services listed here, and then embed them on your blog:
