How do I upload a WordPress themes? Do I need to buy a business plan for that?

  I remember that uploading themes was free. Now it’s not?!

  Hello there, I’m sorry but a free WordPress.com account does not allow to upload a theme. If you wish to have the feature to upload a theme to your WordPress.com blog, you may consider upgrading your plan to Business Plan in order to do that.

  Hi adkrishkan081017,

  Just adding to the information staff-zara provided — free themes can be activated from our showcase:

  https://wordpress.com/themes

  But uploading custom themes is only supported on the Business plan (this feature has never been available through the Free plan).
