How do I upload my membership zip file so i can create a membership page on my wordpress?

We are trying to create a membership page – i googled what i needed to do but i can not for the life of me understand what exactly needs to be uploaded so i can insert the plugin. Matt

Hi Matt,
It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs. The difference is broken down here:
You can create a membership site using Password Protected pages:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/
However, if you’re set on using the plugin, you will need to move to a self-hosted site. Let me know what route you would like to go, and I’ll be happy to help you get setup moving forward!
