    It looks like you have your header image installed. When you say logo, are you talking about something separate from the header image? If so, where did you want to put it?

    Create the header image you want to use, and then create the logo you want to use. Upload the header image the normal way and then upload the logo image to your media library and post the URL of that image here in this thread. Also, unhide the site title since we’ll use that DIV in the XHTML for the logo, but we will hide the text via CSS.

    Thank you for the quick reply. But I never did this before , i’m really a begginer. I don’t know what DIV stands for?!…

    But i did put the logo on my media library and I have the URL of that image, but why do I have to post it here in this thread??? Oh boy this seems so complicate :S

    I needed a link to the logo so that I can create the CSS for you to display your logo. Give me a little bit to work it out for you.

    Give this a try and see what you think. Copy out the following code and then paste it into the CSS edit window below any existing changes you may have already made. Let us know if you want to make any adjustments to spacing and such.

    #site-title {
    background: url("http://suziefriasphotodesign.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/grey1.jpg") no-repeat scroll center top transparent;
    height: 169px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    #masthead {
    padding-top: 1.2em;
    }

    YEAH! it worked! thank you very very much! It was super big and i stil figured out how to make it smaller! Still want it a bit smaller but for some reason it doesn’t wanna accept smaller measurments, but I know I can put the logo back into my media gallery with smaller measurments and it will be smaller!!! :)

    How do you know all theses code!??!!!

    Thank you again was very nice of you to help me out!

    @suziefriasphotodesign, I’ve been doing this for several years, and also I use the Firebug add-on for Firefox which allows me to quickly identify the selectors for the different page elements and even allows me to try changes on the fly before I post them here.

    You are welcome and I’m glad things are working for you now.

    @fashionforyang – Have you changed themes since posting this? I do not see “the photo of the lake” on your site.

    If you are referring to a Custom Header, many themes support using one. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/custom-header/

    Just to add a general note, CSS is theme-specific, so if you would like to ask about how to do something and you are using a different theme than the one first referred to, you should start a new help request.

    @asqewcreativ, you are currently using the Twenty Eleven theme at http://asqew-creative.com/ and you can use the following CSS example to replace the site title in the Twenty Eleven them with a logo:

    #site-title a {
    	background: url('http://huntergatherermedia.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/logo2013ul.png?w=400') left top no-repeat;
    	display: block;
    	text-alignment: left;
    	text-indent: -9999px;
    	width: 400px;
    	height: 168px;
    }

    Note that CSS can be added to the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page in WordPress.com blogs.
