How do I upload plugins?

    I purchased a 3rd party plugin. Here are the installations steps:

    Go to WordPress Admin Plugins → click on Add New → click on Upload.
    Unzip the ‘gym_management_system.zip ‘ file and Upload the ‘ gym_management_system.zip ‘ → click on Install Now.
    Click on Activate Plugin.
    You can see WPGYM on the dashboard.

    Problem: I can not seem to find any way to upload the plugin from my admin dashboard. Navigating to Plugins will only display plugins to install, and no way to add mine.

    The answers i found online did not work (my guess is that they are outdated?). Please let me know what I need to do.

    Correct account: Yes

    Most tips and tricks you find on the internet, are about the open source wordpress.org and not about the wordpress.com platform. The only reliable source of information about the wordpress.com platform is our own documentation, https://wordpress.com/support/

    Regarding using third party plugins – https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/, this is only possible if you upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/
