How do I use a contact form that will then send them a pdf file?

I wish to have a contact form to capture their email address that when they fill it out, they will then receive a link for a free pdf file.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The short answer is: WP.com doesn’t provide that functionality, as it could be abused by spammers.
The long answer is, you can do it IF you only use your email address for the Contact form an no other purpose and you set up an autoresponder which includes the PDF.
