Hi there,
Domains cannot be transferred in to WordPress.com right now, you can only purchase domains with WordPress.com or point them towards our servers through the use of nameservers.
If you would like to transfer your domain to a new registrar, there are quite a few choices out there which you might want to consider. This article is a few years old, but it reviews some of the more popular choices:

I have purchased a package that gives me a url with you, but the url I want is one I have with webs.com (littleblowholecafe.com) and I want to transfer it to my wordpress site. My subscription to webs ends in a couple of weeks, so I want to do it now for continuity of web presence. They sent me that EPP.transfer authorisation key when I asked them about it. Any clues on what to do?
thanks Cathy -
Hi Cathy,
You can use the domain credit which you have to activate Domain Mapping, which will allow you to host a domain here, but this is different from having your domain registered here.
If you don’t want to have your domain registered with webs any longer, then you can transfer to another company such as GoDaddy.com, 1&1, or Gandi; where you will need to make use of the EPP transfer key which you’ve been given. Unfortunately however you cannot transfer the domain to use.

thanks! Did as you said and registered it elsewhere. Will activate my domain mapping when ready. Appreciate your help.
