How do I use a Getty image as a featured image?

    It is clear to me how to embed a Getty image. And, I also know how to select a featured image from my media library. But, how can I use a Getty image as a featured image since I can only embed Getty images and not save them?

    In short, you won’t be able to use Getty embeds as Featured images.

    Both Featured Images and images used in the Gallery feature need to be uploaded to your site. There’s no way around that.
