How do I use exponents, such as to the X power?
-
I want to refer to notes at the end of the article by using an exponent. An exponent would be like, x squared using the number 2 after, and above the X.
I type the article with the exponent, but WordPress eliminates the exponent and shows it as an ordinary number.
This is important to me, as I want to include a formula that uses an exponent, in this case a letter. It would read X to the m power. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You should be able to use the “sup” code to turn the “2” into an exponent. For example, you would enter the following text:
x2That should create an exponent.
You will want to use this in the Text Editor (as opposed to the Visual Editor). Can you give that a try?
