How do I use the autosaved version of a page or post?
-
I am writing to make a suggestion. I was bumped from the internet the last time I was working on my blog, and was DELIGHTED to find an autosave version of the page that included all of my revisions. Many thanks for that feature!
I would like to opt to use the autosaved version of the page instead of the currently-published version, but it is not immediately apparent to me how to do that. And the Autosave page, although helpful in other respects, doesn’t say how to do that either. It would be helpful to have a sentence at the end of the the existing description that says simply, “To use the existing version, do such and such; to use the autosaved version, do such and such.”
You don’t need to get back with me; I will just copy and paste. (Again, I am beyond happy that my changes are there so I CAN copy and paste!) But I am sure that there is a more elegant way to use the autosaved version.
Thanks for your great work!!!
