How do I use the Search WordPress.com. No matter what I search for I get nothin
-
Well I have spent hours on that link and have checked both discussions and comments and nothing appears different on the referenced page. There is still no obvious way to leave a comment.
The Page “Tactics used by Miners” has both discussion and comments checked and still I see no change to the page or any of the other individual pages I have tried this on. -
Did you edit the specific post in question, check “Discussion” in the Screen Options tab, then check “Allow Comments” in the Discussion box below the post editing window before re-saving it?

Yes
I went back and opened up the “Tactics used by Miners” page for editing, and
the Page “Tactics used by Miners” has both discussion and comments already checked and still I see no change to the page or any of the other individual pages I have tried this on.
After multiple reads of the help pages, it seems to indicate that these checks are the default settings, but they are not in this theme “Lifestyle by Studio Press”. -
Yes, you have checked these in the Screen Options tab, but this just displays the settings modules in the post edit screen. Now, you need to scroll down below the post editor and check “Allow comments” in the Discussion module.

Well I’ll be Jiggered ( or something to that effect!)
It worketh!
Thank you MacmanxNext question:
Is there a way to go directly from a category to a Link?
Presently I have to go to “Other mines/Plants”, Maps, Frack Sand Mine Locations, and then click on “Click here for Google maps” to get to the Google Map page.
There must be a cleaner way -
Are you saying that you’d like to add that link into your nav bar with the other pages and such?
If so, add a Custom Link to your menu via Appearance -> Menus in your Dashboard.
