How do I verify my blog with Google?

    I’m trying to add the Google verification page and there seems to be no way to do that. There doesn’t seem to be a way to upload a html file. I tried adding the verification code to a post – I read in one of the forums you can do that – but Google says there’s too much other code in the page, and the verification fails.

    Using Google Analytics is another way to add the code. I tried adding the Google’s java script snippet to a post but the editor stripped out the java script tag and that didn’t work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Assuming you’re using Google Webmaster Tools, you’ll need to use the Meta code method and add the code via the Tools section of your blog’s Dashboard.
