How do I verify my Facebook page, not my personal profile?

I’m building a WordPress website for professional purposes. I’m an author and primarily use my website to promote my books. I also have a professional author page on Facebook for the same purpose. I’d like to verify my Facebook page on my WordPress profile but whenever I do this, it only links to my personal profile which I don’t want to make public. My personal profile is just for myself and my friends. My page on Facebook is what I use to interact with readers and promote my books so I would like my WordPress profile to verify my page and link to my page rather than my profile. Is there any way to do this on WordPress? Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi there. Do you mean you’re trying to connect your Facebook account with Publicize under Settings ->Sharing in the dashboard?
The initial connection with WordPress.com is made via your personal profile. After you approve that connection you’ll have the option whether you want Publicize to post to your profile, page or both.
