How do I verify my website?

  I’ve received an email from Google saying:

  We have noticed that the host name of your site, https://londontheatrevisits.com, does not match any of the “Subject Names” in your SSL certificate, which were:

  *.wordpress.com
  wordpress.com
  As a result, many web browsers will block users from accessing your site, or display a security warning message when your site is accessed.

  Can anyone tell me how I should fix this? I’ve had the site for many years and it’s up there on the web okay but I’ve never been asked to verify it before.

  I have managed to do this myself by going to the following:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

  And it worked. Sorry to bother you, but I see several others have been receiving the same message from Google. (I wasn’t sure it might not be spam.)
