How do I verify ownership of the blog site in order to get un-blacklisted?

  For some reason, Norton has blacklisted my WordPress site (http://susanaellisauthor.wordpress.com). In order to follow the steps to get it straightened out, I have to verify my ownership of the site by posting specific meta data or HTML code. How do I do that with a wordpress.com site?

  I’m sure I’m not the first one this has happened to! Please help!

  I added the tag Norton to this thread and found this post which might be useful:

  Norton is a security product produced by the Symantec corporation. It is not a search engine. You do not register ownership of a blog with Norton. When you install it on your computer a safe search bar is part of that. It indicates ratings for sites with regard to the safety of entering them (viruses, malware, attack sites) . Over time your site will become a recommended site to those using the same searchbar.

  I was able to verify the site through Google, but it is apparently Norton that has blacklisted my blog site.

  So…if I can’t go through the steps to rectify this through Norton, what other suggestions do you have?

  There MUST be a way to address this! I’m sure I’m not the first person to fall into this black hole!

  Please stop posting irrelevant links. This issue has nothing to do with verifying a blog with Google.

  @TT – the irrelevant link is only annoying – they told a person earlier to Delete the Blog to clear content – great advice for sure – maybe I cleaned it up in time

  I spent all day yesterday in a dentist’s chair – 2 root canals and 2 temporary fillings. I’m trying hard not to SHOUT! about this and the other wrong comments as well.
