How do I view blog subscribers?
-
I need to get a list of our blog subscribers, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where to find it. When I go to my dashboard and click “users”, all I see is a list of our admins. According to other help topics I’ve read there’s supposed to be a list that says “subscribers” but I don’t see it anywhere. Is there another place I can find this list? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
You can see your subscribers by clicking My Site → Stats → Subscribers.

When you’re on the Subscribers tab, you will see the WordPress.com followers. You can click on “Email” tab to see the list of Email Followers.
Hope that helps!

Thank you! Is there any way to download/export my subscriber emails from this page? Or do I need to download a plugin to do that?

To download a list of all email addresses, click on the ellipses (three dots) in the top right corner of the screen, beside the Add subscribers button. Click the Download subscribers as CSV button to save a CSV file to your computer containing all email addresses. You can then use that file to import your subscribers to another platform like Mailpoet.

Click the three dots to reveal the download option I hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply! I don’t see the “add subscribers” button or ellipses on my page. I’m on the Jetpack Stats page, as recommended by a previous commenter. Is there a different page I should be able to download subscriber info?

Thank you for the clarification! It seems that the issue lies with the Jetpack connection on your site, which is preventing access to your subscriber information.
The problem specifically lies with the XML-RPC file of your site, located at https://www.mbnep.org/xmlrpc.php. This file is essential for Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site, and it should return the message “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”
You can see a working example here: https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php
To resolve this, I suggest checking the following:
- Verify if the /xmlrpc.php file is present at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP. If it’s missing, I recommend reinstalling WordPress. You can do this by navigating to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page and clicking the “Reinstall WordPress” button.
- Check if you have any security plugins that might be blocking access to the file. If so, try disabling them temporarily. Additionally, review your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that could be restricting access to the xmlrpc.php file.
- Determine if your hosting provider is blocking access to the file. If you don’t find any plugins or rules that may be causing the issue, it’s advisable to contact your hosting provider for further assistance.
If you continue experiencing difficulties with your site connection even after restoring the XML-RPC file, I recommend reaching out to Jetpack support for additional troubleshooting.
I hope this provides clarity and helps resolve the issue!
