How do I widen the content section in Ocean Mist?

I don’t know what the heck is going on, but my content section in Ocean Mist has gotten narrower! How do I widen it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You first need to go to settings > reading and set your site to show perhaps 3 or 5 posts per page maximum. With my wireless internet connection I cancelled loading of your site after 3 minutes (it was still not close to done).
After you do that, I’ll take a look at it, or perhaps someone else will drop by that has a faster connection.

If that is going on, is was a WordPress issue or your computer connection.
I’ve never had problems with loading the page. Plus, changing the settings did nothing to solve the problem of central column width!

I am on dedicated high speed service and your front page has too many posts all with large images and.or embeds so it loads slowly. Page loading time is a page ranking factor and 50% of those using the internet are on dial-up service.
Bottom line: Please do as thesacredpath says as he is the only Volunteer who helps with CSS editing.
