  • Unknown's avatar

I am looking to write posts in Kannada/Hindi and other such Indian languages but I see no support for doing such a thing (the multi-lingual blog set-up confused the hell out of me!)

    Can you please help?

    thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,
To change the interface language on your blog go to > Settings > General and select the language from the drop-down menu. Then click “save changes”.

Sorry, I wasnt looking for that.

I did see and change it, but that still does not enable my writing in the “new post” or posting area to be able to type in another language. That is what I am looking for.

Would you know how to do that?

    thanks

    Thank you, TT!

That is a much better explanation of things. I did get that I was looking to use the Kannada script(ಕನ್ನಡ) like I finally did on this post.

So I am going to use that post of yours as well. If someone else wants to write in Kannada(ಕನ್ನಡ) or Other Indian languages, use this (quillpad) website.

Okay, maybe I didnt clarify everything, if someone else is looking to use Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali etc., first use the Quillpad site above, then go to TimeThief’s post(see her comment), and follow the instructions there.

That way you can post in multiple languages – including English.

You’re welcome and thanks for the tip re: Quillpad.
