How do IGet my summaries of my posts back to big and not having them skinny.

OK. When looking at the summaries of my blogs there so skinny not big like they used to be. Why is this? How can I change them back. This pertains to both of my blogs CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE and WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) . I noticed this when I checked my blogs so I tried to fix it with no luck. I have taken screenshots on each site and put them in the media library. One is in CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE and one is in WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING). How do I get them back to the way they were because I don’t like them skinny.

You appear to have changed themes and the one in use now (the name of which I do not know) is a retired theme. For all I know as there is no theme name provided the way it is displaying may be exactly how that particular theme is designed. What is the name of the theme?

Note that “the more tag” is not a theme-specific feature. There is also no global setting for it.
Also, note that the setting here > Settings > Reading is only for the RSS Feed summary and does not affect the posts.
If you want to display only excerpts on the front page of the blog followed by read more links, you can insert “the more tag” into each post prior to publication.

The split in the text does not display to you in preview mode but it will be there after the post is published.

On WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) the theme name is Bouquet and on CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE the theme name is Vintage Camera. On both of these sites it used to provide a big summary but now for whatever reason it has gone to skinny summary. Does this have to do with settings. I liked the big summaries better and want them back. Please help me get them back to big summaries.

I’ve been trying to get back there on my own through settings but don’t know how. you mentioned posts well after they are published they’re skinny. Even when I go to write a new post it’s different too. It says History and save at top and not just save. How do I change this back too? Do I really need to change themes? I was told it was OK to use these retired themes.
