How do members join my blog?

  Another question, sorry.
  Is the members thing only for people that pay for extra features? Because I don’t have a signup link on my blog.

  WordPress.com users can not sign up for your blog. You must grant them access from the Users area of your dashboard. You will see the section titled “Add User From Community.” Note, also, that any user who joins your blog must have a WordPress.com account.

  But I thought I had seen some where they can make an account for the blog itself.

  They can make WordPress.com accounts and blogs, but they cannot make an account that will automatically be able to access YOUR blog. If you want other people to access your blog (meaning, you want them to write pages and posts, edit stuff, etc.), you must add them manually to your blog’s access list.

  So there is no way to allow someone to read a blog without the ability to write pages or edit?
