How do new users contribute to my blog?

    I have sent email invites to several new users, who are students in my course. I would like them all to submit posts to my blog and continue posting as contributors. They are having trouble figuring out how to log in and submit posts, so I am looking for step-by-step instructions to help guide them through the process of submitting new posts.

    Hi there,

    Once your students have individually signed up for WordPress accounts, you will need to add each of them as users to your blog. Directions on how to do this are available here:

    You may want to also read our Support document on User Roles before adding your students to the account.

    Once they are added as users to your account, they should see your blog in the “Blogs” drop-down menu in their Admin Bar. By clicking on the blog name, they will be taken to the Dashboard and can add a post by clicking on Posts > Add New.
