  Hi there, the featured image you are using is quite small and it is tiling horizontally and vertically. I’m not sure if that is the affect you want or not.

  If you want a single large featured image that doesn’t tile, then the recommended size is 1400px x 1000px according to the Pique Theme showcase page (quick specs at bottom).

  Font colors can be set in several different places, so can you be more specific on which text you wish to change the color on?
