How do open “install.php?”

  I hope this is the right place to ask this question….

  I uploaded the WP 2.1 to my website (uuge.com) hosted by 1and1.com. I’m pretty sure they have all the requirements for php and all…

  I used CoffeeCup Free FTP to upload the files and am trying to do this: “Open /wp-admin/install.php in your browser.” How do I do that? I tried to paste this into Internet Explorer, but it said not found:
  http://uuge/wordpress-2.1/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

  What am I doing wrong?

  You need to be over here http://wordpress.org/support as you are in the wrong support forum. This is the wordpress.com forum and we run on different software.

  Came right up for me once you fixed the domain name to be correct. You forgot the .com bit in your URL. ;)

  But TT is right. You need to be over at the other site.
